Before you Ride
While kids seem to love this type of attraction, most adults feel it's not worth the wait.
The queue is lightly themed and covered by awnings that would be at home in the fictional cartoon Kingdom of Agrabah.
The vehicles are themed as flying carpets from the Aladdin movie. There are two rows of seats and each row can sit 2 adults or 2 adults and a small child.
The front row can control the height of the carpet, while the back row can control the pitch of the carpet.
There are seatbelt restraints for the attraction.
While approaching the attraction surprised guests may get "sprayed" by a camel that's out front. Guests will Soar over Adventureland on their flying carpet based on the Aladdin animated feature.
Guests can control the height and the pitch of the flying carpets, all the while circling the Genie's lamp on their flight. The theming is enhanced by music from the Aladdin movie soundtrack. The attraction also features a water feature at the load area as the carpets are extended over water for the guests to board.
The attraction offers great views of the rest of Adventureland.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and TriceraTop Spin are the same type of attraction with different theming. Astro Orbiter is another type of Spinner attraction but the vehicles in Astro Orbiter rotate at a greater speed and start out from a higher elevation.
The attraction plays instrumental versions of the following songs from the Aladdin Soundtrack: One Jump Ahead, Prince Ali, Friend Like Me and A Whole New World
