The Wall Street Journal (Paywall), Bloomberg and CNN.com are reporting that Disney has improved their previous offer to buy 21st Century Fox. Disney's initial offer was an all stock offer valued at $52.4 billion in December 2017. Since then, Comcast made a cash bid of $65 billion.
The new offer from Disney is valued at $71.3 billion and includes 50% stock and 50% cash. Both Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal are reporting that Fox has accepted Disney's bid.
The assets included in this deal are Fox's National Geographic, Star, regional sports networks, movie studios and percentages in Sky and Hulu. Not included are Fox News, broadcast networks and Fox Sports.
